One brand has had immense recent success as of late: Charlotte Tilbury. Rather than being just another brand that people walk by in a department store, Charlotte Tilbury has become the brand that people go to the store in search of. Charlotte Tilbury’s recent success has shown how important branding and marketing are. The brand is all over social media and products constantly go viral and sell out. Products sell out at Charlotte Tilbury locations, as well as Sephora and Nordstrom; hundreds of customers sign up for product restock notifications and still miss out on getting the products they desire. 

One way Charlotte Tilbury has been able to have such immense growth is through its appeal to a wide audience. Although it is a higher-end beauty brand, Charlotte Tilbury is not only sought after by older generations. People of all ages have an interest in the brand, and there are products that appeal to every age group. Some products that have been marketed to an older audience have even become desirable to younger groups.  

For instance, although the Magic Cream moisturizer is marketed as a product that reduces fine lines and wrinkles, people of all ages use the cream. Also, more often than not, social media advertisements for the Magic Cream are done by influencers of younger ages. The brand’s use of social media influencers has skyrocketed its popularity, especially because social media is a prime way customers find out about products nowadays.  Popular influencer Madison Beer has been the reason for many products selling out, specifically Charlotte Tilbury’s highlight, blush, and contour wands.

Charlotte Tilbury has also been able to infiltrate the beauty industry through its cohesive, easy-to-use makeup collections. Their best-selling line “Pillow Talk” has every product one could need for both a natural and glam makeup look. From their most popular and iconic Pillow Talk lipstick to the newer Pillow Talk blush, the collection offers something for every customer.

Charlotte Tilbury not only has a great variety of products but has products that are truly user-friendly. Compact eyeshadow palettes even come with instructions on the bottom of the product for where to place each shade on the eyelid. Because of the brand’s ability to relate to a broad audience and make use of social media influencers, it has been able to grow greatly in popularity and overall brand success. Charlotte Tilbury will continue to fly off the shelves at beauty stores, and it won’t be long until another viral product is released!
