3 NYFW Trends We Can’t Wait to Start Wearing On Campus
New York Fashion Week (NYFW) has wrapped up and although fashion month is still upon us, we couldn’t help but be excited about some of the trends we've seen. As students who love fashion, striking a balance between comfort and a really fashionable outfit can be quite the challenge.Some of our favorite looks/trends at NYFW were over the top and avant-garde (we're looking at you Marc Jacobs), but here are a few trends we saw on the runway that can comfortably be worn on Bruin Walk.
1. Boxy Blazers
Blazers have been all the rage this past year but Proenza Schouler's show showed us that the boxier the blazer, the better. Perfect for chilly fall mornings and cold classrooms:
2. Zebra PrintWe loved cheetah print as a trend but there’s a new animal in town: Zebra. R13's runway showcased both cheetah and zebra elements and needless to say, this quarter is about to take a walk on the wild side.Wear this trend as a sheer top:
3. Puffy SleevesSandy Liang's runway had a plethora of puffy sleeves varying from long to short sleeve and dresses to blouses. A sweet and romantic top, but casual enough for everyday wear:
