GOLDEN GLOBES FASHION
Golden Girls
Three beautiful women in one stunning (and sparkly!) metallic. My favorite color is "gold and sparkly" so I am a huge fan of all of these looks. Kate Hudson (in Michael Kors), Rosie Huntingon-Whiteley (in Atelier Versace) and Brie Larson (in Calvin Klein) could give the Golden Globes statue a run for his money.Shades of Cool
Three beautifully feminine dresses with a bit of an edge. Lily James (in Marchesa) stuns in an ethereal, soft-multicolored gown paired with fierce hair. Malin Akerman's Reem Acra's dress has an uneven, even organic feel to the peplum (compared to the rigid stiffness of peplum) that contrasts incredibly well with the tight structure of the rest of the dress. Jenna Dewan Tatum's Zuhair Murad Haute Couture ball gown looks like it came straight from a fairy tale; if (more like when) I become a princess, I want to be wearing this dress.Back in Black
Two fierce dresses for two fierce ladies. Arguably my favorite dress of the evening, Kirsten Dunst's Valentino Haute Couture gown is part sexy, part elegant, and completely perfect. Lady Gaga embodied old Hollywood glamour in an Atelier Versace black velvet gown (even covering up her tattoos with makeup!) and even took home her first Golden Globe for her role as The Countess in American Horror Story.
Honestly, I don't even need to say anything. These women and these dresses are perfect. Olivia Wilde (in Michael Kors) and Zendaya (in Marchesa) are absolute visions. The styles and the color are incredibly flattering on both these women, two of my personal style icons. Drop the mic here, seriously, no words. All photos via Who What Wear. What was your favorite look and favorite moment of the night? I'm torn between Taraji P. Henson passing out cookies as she went to the stage to accept her award and Ryan Gosling just, you know, existing. Stay Goldenxx Elissa
